Friends, allow me to raise a question: In the matter of welcoming the Lord, whose words should we follow?
When hearing the news of the Lord’s return, we will be very excited and share it with our friends, family, and the pastor and elder, and thus we will hear various viewpoints from them. Then who should we listen to?
Here, I want to share two verses first.
The Lord Jesus said, “My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.” (John 10:27). “Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who is victorious, I will give the right to eat from the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God.” (Revelation 2:7).
From the prophecies, we can know that heeding God’s voice is the key of welcome jesus, and only by listening to God’s voice can we welcome jesus. In the beginning, we following the Lord Jesus was also through listening to the words of the Lord Jesus, and by this means, we recognized the voice of Lord Jesus is the voice of God, and the Lord Jesus is the true God. So when the Lord returns, we also should seek and investigate, paying attention to listening to God’s voice instead of man’s viewpoints.
I’d like to share with you a sister’s real experience. She didn’t understand whose words she should listen to at first and blindly followed man’s words. As a result, she nearly lost the chance of welcoming the Lord’s return. Watch Video, and you will find the correct way to welcome the Lord.

The main character gets to know a brother and sister from The Church of Almighty God on Facebook, and finds their fellowship new and enlightening. She gains spiritual sustenance, but when she hears them bear witness that Almighty God is the Lord Jesus returned, she thinks of her pastor's judgment against The Church of Almighty God. She gets her guard up right away and doesn't dare to look into it. But through prayer and seeking, she realizes that in faith, everything must be done according to God's words, especially with something as important as investigating the true way. Going by the words of another human being is just believing in and following a person. She decides to investigate Almighty God's work of the last days. Her doubts are dispelled by reading Almighty God's words, she becomes certain that He is the Lord Jesus returned, and she accepts Almighty God's work of the last days. At the same time, she becomes aware of the hypocritical, God-resisting essence of the pastors and elders and realizes that by following the clergy and taking them at their word, her chances to enter the kingdom of heaven would be ruined.
