Do you long to meet the Lord?
Each time I see the scene that when the Lord Jesus had dinner on a table with His disciples, He preached to them. Those disciples can ask the Lord Jesus any questions they didn’t understand, the Lord Jesus then practically fellowshipped about the truth with them. Just as Peter asked the Lord Jesus, “Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times? Jesus said to him, I say not to you, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.”(Matthew 18:21-22) The Lord Jesus told him how to practice with clear words. This makes us feel God is very close to man. I especially admire those disciples and imagine a scene that I can welcome the Lord’s return one day and listen to His word with my own ears. What a captivating scene it is! Today, this expectation finally come true! The Lord Jesus for whom we have yearned for two thousand years has come! Brothers and sisters, what are you still waiting for? A hymn, Two Thousand Years of Longing, guide us to meet the Lord!

That God has become flesh shakes the religious world, upsets the religious order, and stirs up the souls of all who long for God's appearance. Who does not marvel at this? Who does not long to see God? God has spent years among man, but man is simply unaware of this. Today, God Himself has appeared to renew His old love with man.

After He left from Judea, God vanished without a trace. People long to see Him again, but never have they expected to reunite with Him here and today. How could this not bring back memories of the past? Two thousand years ago, Simon son of Jonah met Lord Jesus, and ate with the Lord at the same table. Years of following deepened his love for Him. He loved Jesus to the bottom of his heart. God has spent years among man, but man is simply unaware of this. Today, God Himself has appeared to renew His old love with man, to renew His old love with man.
