The Lord Jesus once said, “And, behold, I come quickly …”(Revelation 22:12). Many true believers in the Lord have been awaiting the Lord’s return. At the critical time of welcoming the Lord’s return, they suffer harassment and obstruction from their pastors. Pastors often preach to those believers, “Then if any man shall say to you, See, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; so that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect”(Matthew 24:23-24). Based on these two verses, they say those who testify the Lord has returned are all false, we must not listen, nor look, and nor get in touch with it. As a result, many brothers and sisters fall into confusion: On the matter of welcoming the Lord’s return, if we don’t listen, nor look, and nor get in touch with it, then how could we welcome the Lord’s return?
As to this confusion, today I’d like to share with you a Hindi Christian short play, “The True Cannot Be False”. Let’s see how the protagonist distinguishes true Christ from false Christs and thus get his confusion resolved.
